It is a highly resistant, about 8-metre tall and 5-metre wide small tree, spread in a large area in Europe and Asia. Tolerates both stagnant water areas and bone-dry conditions, but grows excellently even in highly saline soils while the harshest winters are also just a smile for it!
Masses of dark pink flowers, which cover the whole plant for long weeks, appear on the Cypress-like shoots in late summer and early autumn. Excellent to install it for windbreak walls or trimmed hedges, too!
