This is an insect trap plant native to North America, whose leaves changed into tubular pitcher-shaped leaves with a lid. The sweet nectar produced on the leaves` edges and inside the pitchers, attracts the insects, which get deeper and deeper in the tube, which they cannot come out after a while because of the inwardly extending hair. The leaves and flowers of the plant are also very special, in addition, their overwintering is possible outdoors!
