Originally it comes from the east coast of the United States, but this species, whose autumn foliage turns into bright red colour, was bred in Russia. Its fruit contains high amounts of fructose, pectin and tannin. It is a very high yielding breed and very resistant against pests and diseases. The Russian folk medicine uses this plant for many things for a long time. Its fruit contains extremely high amounts of antioxidants (the highest among all the fruits in the world!), which play key role in neutralizing the harmful substances in our body!!!
