It is a deciduous Forsythia with year round interest. The bare branches are covered in a profusion of golden yellow flowers in early spring, followed by dark green leaves that glow with clear silver venation providing a unique sight. The arching, deep purple branches are revealed in winter after the leaves have dropped. More shade tolerant than other varieties.
