It`s a small tree reaching a height of 2-3 metres, the foliage keeps its golden yellow colour for a long time since coming up!
The young plants kept in shade have not, but the ones which are more advanced, also receiving some sunshine, growing half in shadow, in diffuse light, developing nicely, however, have the typical tones of colour at full intensity! The Japanese maples are completely hardy in our country (Hungary). They grow really well in a vaporous, semi-shady area with good water supply. They especially look good near smaller and larger ponds, or at any water surface!
