This is a crossed version made of two species of lilacs (Syringa reflexa and Syringa sweginzowii) that are native to China which combines successfully the good qualities of both parents! Unlike most lilacs, its bunches are not erect, but curved bending down! Its long, nodding inflorescences are pink, with very pleasant smell and bloom relatively late, in June! It reaches about 9.8-11.5 foot (3-3.5 metres) tallness by the age of 10. Where it has enough place, can be a wonderful solitaire and also an excellent hedge plant in spacious gardens! It is a fully winter-hardy specialty, not choosy in soils!
