The basic species, Acacia dealbata or Silver acacia, native to South-Eastern Australia, is a bigger evergreen shrub or smaller tree with leaves which form a feather- or fern-like, finely divided, silver-bluish complex. The species Gaulois Astier is a bit stocky, has a denser sprout system, a very abundantly flowering version! The bubble-like, spherical, golden-yellow flowers have very nice odour, they open in large clusters en masse! At winter garden conditions, it often starts blooming in January and can continue through months! One of the most spectacular flowering balcony plant, which gives a decoration with its tropical-like foliage of atmosphere! It needs a frost-free, light, not too warm place in winter!
