The fruit is of medium large size, roundish, with purplish-red stripes, the flesh is melting juicy, only slightly cracking, tastes and smells pleasantly delicate fruity. It is a real winter apple, can be picked in October and be stored till April. The finest taste is achieved a few weeks later, after having placed in the storeroom. This is an old Hungarian sort from the Upper Tisza region, a hardened, unassuming, with good capability to produce fruit!
