It is native to Mexico and Guatemala, a dwarf shrub reaching a height of 19.5-23.4 inches (50-60 cm), which continuously churns out its tiny pink blossoms throughout the summer! It is excellent for keeping in a pot or in a container, as it can be a jewel on any terrace or in a garden! (In spite of being a Central American origin, many cling to the erroneous naming Japanese myrtle...)
