Its tiny leaves are edged with silver colour, other properties are the same as those of the basic species:
It is an excellent ground cover plant, but definitely suits as a low field boundary if it is trimmed!
It is a broadly spreading low bush on the ground, which can be used to cover retaining walls and fix soil on slopes by plants, but also good as a solitaire plant. It is a very showy plant together with its small round green leaves, snow-white flowers and mass of fiery red berries. The autumn foliage becomes orange-red in colour. It is not choosy in soils and places, grows very well even in the most diverse areas and soon will be spectacular. This plant is Chinese origin and completely winter-hardy. USDA Zone 5b.
