It is an ancient Italian cultivar from the region of Naples. Its medium sized fruit is golden yellow inside and outside, and has excellent taste! It is interesting that although this fruit is early-ripening, can be collected in July; the flowering time is relatively late, so largely avoids spring frosts. As a result, it produces fruit reliably at cooler or frost-dangerous places too!
