It begins ripening about two weeks after Spring Blush, a very showy apricot novelty, is a variety of the French Vergers Nursery Garden deserving serious attention. The extra-large fruits have beautiful deep orange colour and real red on the sunny side! The taste is very pleasant and harmonious, with lower acid and higher sugar content than the similar sorts have. It is transportable and can be stored very easily as well as is excellent for fresh consumption and preserving! The tree is of strong growth, blooms late, so late frosts are less threatening! It is not self-pollinating therefore a pollinator (e.g. Spring Blush) should be planted next to it. It is capable of harvesting in large quantities!
