It is a deciduous shrub with arching branches reaching a height of 2 meters, which produces its nice rounded clusters of sweetly scented orange-yellow flowers continuously, starting from June till autumn! Amongst the summer lilacs, this colour counts as very special! It prefers loose, nutrient-rich garden soil and sunny places. Irrigating is only needed during long periods without precipitation. To have blossoms more abundantly, cut it back heavily at spring. Either as solitaire or in groups, it is a great part of the garden!
