Red Topaz, which has more intense red colour, is the brother of the sort Topaz. Other features are similar to those of Topaz: can be stored until April, has pleasantly Mediterranean flavour, ripens in October. It can already be gathered from the end of September, but the real nice flavour and its cracking juicy texture will be perfect after several weeks of storage. The fruit is large, streaky, beautiful red, of roundish shape, the flesh is yellow, cracking and juicy. Begins to bear fruit early, regularly and plenty, a Czech variety. It resists to diseases, excellent to bio- and chemical-free home garden cultivation!
