Pink Ballerina Threadleaf Japanese Maple

(Acer palmatum `Pink Ballerina`)
This plant is currently unavailable.

It is a very special Japanese mottled maple: its red leaves, which are dissected lace-like yarn-like, are adorned with large pink spots! Slow-growing and only reaches approx. 1.5-2 m of tallness even at old age; a rare version!

The young plants kept in shade have not, but the ones which are more advanced, also receiving some sunshine, growing half in shadow, in diffuse light, developing nicely, however, have the typical tones of colour at full intensity! The Japanese maples are completely hardy in our country (Hungary). They grow really well in a vaporous, semi-shady area with good water supply. They especially look good near smaller and larger ponds, or at any water surface!  USDA zone 6b.
