It is a South-African origin, fleshy-leaved succulent plant which churns out its very impressive white-centred, almost glowing neon purple-coloured blossoms from late spring until the first frosts! It forms about 5.85-inch (15 cm) thick and 15.6-19.5-inch (40-50 cm) wide carpet on the ground. The thick leaves store a lot of water, so this plant tolerates drought and hot scorcher very well! Its cold tolerance is also good, but stagnant water must be drained in winter.
