It is a valuable novelty of the East Malling Research Institute which combines the best features of several kinds of excellent parents! Completely resistant to gooseberry powdery mildew. The fruit is medium-sized or large, oval-shaped, only slightly hairy, pale green, with very pleasant aroma! It is a mid-early ripening type, yields very evenly and a lot, there are no `missed out` years! It is excellent for fresh consumption and conserving too!
