It is an Italian origin blood-pear version, but also popular in Austria. The tree is resistant, hardened, bears fruit regularly and reliably and can already be picked in the first half of August. Pleasant, average pear-flavored, the flesh is not stony, however it has unique bright pink or purplish hue! It is suitable for fresh consumption as well as making stewed fruit!
