Originates from north-east Turkey or from the Caucasus, fully hardy, with developed roots is an excellent drought-resistant perennial. Its special textured, pink flowers bloom from May to July. The foliage consists of nearly thinly dissected, downy silver leaves. It is an excellent, very showy plant in rocky, dry-soil sites or in rockeries.
