It is a German bred novelty which produces berries profusely! The berries are smaller, about 1.5 cm in size. Planting it together with other species is advisable for better pollination and this applies to all other varieties of honeysuckles too! This plant can survive even extreme cold and does not picky in soils. According to our observations, it feels best in a little semi-shade and is very grateful for some watering during the summer. Ripening time is around mid-May. At ripening, it is best not to pick the berries from the bushes, but to knock the bush a little and to pick up the ripest berries fallen onto the ground and to consume. They are real delicacy containing plenty of vitamins and medicinal materials!
