It is one of the most winter-hardy varieties among the Kniphofia sorts. It raises a dense bush and bears its inflorescences that are coral red in buds and greenish yellow when opened during the summer in several waves. It is not picky in soils, the advanced shrubs tolerate drought very well, and is of first-class as cut flower too!
