It is a large-fruited, pleasantly aromatic flavoured, freestone peach. Its yellow flesh is red around the seed, the fruit ripens from mid-August. It is mainly good for fresh consumption, but very good as stewed fruit too! The tree is hardened, strong-growing and high-yielding!
