It is one of the fastest growing varieties among the bamboos with variegated leaves under the domestic (Hungary) circumstances (with adequate water and nutrient supply). It can reach a height of 4 m and a stem thickness of 2 cm. Its long, large sized leaves are variegated with creamy-white longitudinal stripes. The white variegation on the young leaves is more dominant against the green basic colour. With its dense bushy spreading stature and gorgeous colour of leaves it is one of the most beautiful bamboos, which is perfect for solitary, hedge, or even interior decoration as well!
