CHERRY `KUNCSERESZNYE` (Cumanian cherry): One of our loveliest cherries, similar to the `Germersdorfi`cherry, but even bigger, with a beautiful, blood-red fruit. Its stone is of medium size, the flesh is also red, richly juicy and crisp, with a heavenly aroma. Its ripening period lasts for several weeks, and very tolerant to the adversities of weather (some cherry varieties, like `Van`, get almost completely spoiled after a bigger rain, in almost every year). As ripening progresses, its colour gets darker and darker: the last cherries are dark claret. The yield is of excellent quality! Tree: vigorous growth in the beginning, but slows down later as its energy is turned to bear bigger and bigger volumes of yield.
