It is a Serb origin, showy, large fruited, self-pollinating sort of plum, which already ripens in early August. The fruit is dark downy blue, strongly scented, of solid greenish-yellow flesh, which tastes very fine! It starts bearing fruit regularly and abundantly very soon. Because of its nice appearance, excellent quality, good storability and transportability as well as its reliable fruit producing capability makes it one of the most favoured sort! The plum is not sensitive to pox virus!
