It grows to a large fruit-bearing shrub which like blackberries, brings its black, raspberry-like sweet berries, with unique aroma on the previous year`s shoots. The shoots which have already born fruits wither just as those of the raspberry, so they should be removed so as not to hamper the new ones to grow.
This plant is not soil-selective, however hardened and completely winter-hardy. In case of drought regular watering will do good.
