Brandywine crabapple is a moderately sized variety that churns out its long-lasting rosy-pink double fragrant blossoms from mid to late spring. The tree has a rounded, symmetrical shape, grows 15 to 20 feet tall with a similar spread and hardy too. It has small, cherry-size yellowish-green fruit. Its dark green foliage turns deep red or purplish red in autumn. Prefers full to partial sunlight and well-draining soil. Choose a site that can accommodate the projected mature size of this upright tree and the mess will have minimal impact.
