It is native to Southeast Australia and Tasmania, a beautiful, tree-sized, 6.5-10-foot/2-3 m (20 feet/6 m in its original home!!) tall fern, with beautiful, even 6.5-8 foot/2-2.5 m long leaves. The Australian Tree Fern often encounters temperatures below minus 10 degrees in its natural habitat too! It feels best in a humid, semi-shaded environment!
