This is a special vegetable from the Andes mountains which can be grown successfully in our country (Hungary) too, but the tubers must be overwintered in a frost-free basement (just like Dahlia). It is an exceptional rarity, you can find it in only few determined collectors` garden in Hungary! (We only have just a few pieces!!)
