It ripens in the period between the middle and the end of September, but the consumption usually lasts till the end of December. It is a first-class dessert and market fruit. The apple is medium-sized, roundish or conical ball shaped. The skin is smooth, dry to the touch, at first greenish-yellow, bright gold when is ripening, covered with red stripes on the sunny side.
