Its ripening period ranges from October to December, but in cooler lands it has very good shelf life till May. The first class marketable and home fruit is medium size or sometimes larger, mainly ovate ball shaped. The skin is strong, smooth, downy, shining bright when rubbed off, the whole surface is dark red-coated, with a darker red stripes. The flesh is white, turning to red under the skin.
The tree is very hardened, of lush growth, bears fruit regularly and abundantly, the crown is airy, strives upward, spherical and flourishes on all kinds of subjects very well. It is suitable as medium-trunked or shrub shaped tree. This sort does not picky in soils, but sufficient moisture is needed in the soil in summer.
