Some say this summer apple is Russian, others say Baltic origin; at any rate, it is still widespread in Russia and Sweden. The medium-sized fruit`s peel is pale green or pale yellowish, nearly transparent, the flesh is white, soft, juicy, slightly tart, mainly available for processing (i.e. pies, strudels, etc.), but many like consuming it for its very good tonic effect. It will be a vigorous tree capable of high-yield.
