(Malus domestica `Brettacher`)
This plant is currently unavailable.

It was created as a randomly generated seedling in Brettach (now part of Langenbrettach), southern Germany. It is extremely resistant to diseases, of strong growth, with robust stature, is able to produce huge quantities of fruit, an excellent variety. The fruits are large, can be collected in October, the skin is covered by thick layer of fruit wax, tastes more sour-sweetish. It becomes fully ripe during the storage period. Outstanding for eating fresh and its unmistakable aroma is liked by many people, but the most popular is in its processed form (e.g.: pie, strudel, compote, apple sauce, etc.).
