Boskoop Rene syn: Belle de Boskoop. It is a Dutch origin apple with very good fruit quality, ripens in October and can be stored till March. It contains twice as much vitamin C as the Golden Delicious! The flesh is cracking, fragrant and very tasty! Its greenish, yellowish and reddish variations are also known. Hardened, resistant, very high yielding variety, but a very dry habitat is unfavourable for it. With a suitable water supply, it is able to produce serious amounts of fruit.
