The Emerald Queen is probably the most widely used Norway Maple cultivar. In many respects it is the best green leafed selection. It forms a well shaped, dense oval tree with upright spreading branches. Environmental tolerance is good. The spring foliage is deep green, with a nice reddish tint, the fall color is bright yellow. Maximum height is about 15 m, width is 10-12 m. Zone 4.
