John Downie flowering Crab Apple

(Malus `John Downie`)
This plant is currently unavailable.

It is an extremely popular ornamental apple, which its snow-white flood of flowers at spring, and yellowish-orange-red small apples in August raise an eye-catching colour patch in the garden. The small apples that can be said relatively big among the crabapples, are also very tasty and special (very flashy and very delicious!) stewed fruit can be made of them! By occasional shearing, high hedge can be raised!
