In autumn 2013 (mid-September) the first fruits of the grafting bought in Bursa, Turkey, 2009 – have turned into beautiful tree since then - became ripe! Its very thin-skinned, nice, oval-shaped fruit, which has light-coloured very tasty nut kernel, is unique among the usual brown hue and red nuts! (Nut kernel of the freshly picked Bilecik walnut from under the tree is very light, nearly white, later darkens during storage.) Walnut vendors would be worth trying how white, brown and red walnut kernel look next to one another on the stand!
