It is derived from the vicinity of Subotica, first described in 1883. The Noble Szorcsik is self-sterile so requires pollinators in proximity to produce crop. The tree is fastigiated and spreading. The fruit is very big, the skin has a greenish basic colour, imbued with little bit of yellow on which tiny, pale, off-white dots can be seen. It can be picked from the end of October, slightly sharp flavoured, can be consumed from December to March.
