It is a very valuable sort of apples! Its pleasant aromatic and scented flesh, which is pale yellow washed slightly with green, has special flavour, firm, but later becomes softer. The apple is slightly pointed flattened spherical shaped. The skin is greenish yellow with red stripes and very waxy to the touch - hence the name. It ripens from mid-September.
