It is a created version by crossbreeding species originated from New Zealand. A showy evergreen shrub which grows up to a height of about 50-60 cm and its violet coloured clusters of flowers open from mid-summer to the frosts. It only slightly tolerates frost, so its best wintering is similar to that of the oleander, otherwise, it is a very nice decoration in the garden or on the terrace from spring to autumn! Its special appearance perfectly completes the range of container plants!
