This is often recognised as one of the most flavoursome of all Asian Pears! Its white flowers adorn the tree in spring. The fruit is medium-sized, of very good quality, thin skinned, tastes pear-like, juicy and pleasantly sharp finish when fresh. Partially self-fertile, the fruits ripen at the end of August. Nijisseiki is a disease resistant sort. USDA zona 4a
