This is a very tolerant plant which can be raised in a container too! Canadian studies have shown that it has survived minus 45 degrees of Centigrade as well! It is able to live 50 years or more! The name Haskap originates from the Aynus, native people of Hokkaido Island in Japan and the English-speaking countries increasingly use this name instead of the name Honeyberry.
