 One of the best known, most popular pears! It ripens slightly protracted in the second half of September, so you can pick it still in the first weeks of October.
Very nice, big-fruited, rough-surfaced, of brown glazed skin, butter-yellow, the flesh is melting, sweet, of pleasantly Mediterranean taste when ripe. In our orchard, it produces very beautiful fruit without spraying!
