It is a specialty from the eastern foreground of the Himalayas, Western China, which can grow to a size of a tree in its own land, but rarely grows higher than 5 metres in a culture of plant. The 10-cm-long, dark blue bean-shaped fruits develop from its yellow blossoms, which open in spring. It is a real rare uniqueness in Hungary! USDA Zone 6b
