This is a version of the oak-leaved hydrangea, grows 46.8 inches/120 cm tall and 70 inches/180 cm wide. was bred in the US National Arboretum. The 7.8-inch tall flowers, which bloom in cone shaped panicles, are initially white then change into pink, later light red colour and adorn the bushes of especially decorative foliage from July to September! The leaves turn into very attractive velvety brown-red colours in autumn! In our country it is still very rare, but grows nicely under normal conditions and will be a uniquely beautiful-looking ornamental shrub!
