An excellent ground cover plant, but can be perfect as a low field delimiter too, if it is trimmed!
It is a shrub spreading on the low ground, the one which can be used as a cover plant on retaining walls or to fix slopes, but can be a solitaire too. It is a very showy plant with its small, round, green leaves, tiny snow-white flowers and plenty of fiery red berries. The foliage turns into orange-red colour in autumn. It is not picky in soils and locations, can grow nicely in the most diverse habitats and will be spectacular in a short time. It is Chinese origin and completely winter-hardy.
