 It is a large (13-16.4 feet), fast-growing shrub or small tree that abundantly bears spectacularly beautiful, golden-yellow flowers in clusters of 3.9-7.8 inches in May and June. Several pieces of silk hair make the young shoots and the underside of the leaves silvery. This plant likes a warm, sunny place and its drought tolerance is also good. USDA Zone 5a.
